Workshops are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with a start time from 11am to 3pm (approximately a 2-hour time slot). If you'd like to book outside of these hours, please contact us for availability. Located at our micro factory at 4 St Johns Road, YO12 5ET, this 1.5 to 2-hour workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn about the art of chocolate-making and create your own delectable chocolate treats to take home and enjoy.
Join us in our relaxed and friendly environment, where we'll take you through the process of making high-quality chocolate treats from scratch. Whether you're a chocolate lover, a budding chocolatier, or just looking for a fun and tasty experience, our workshop is perfect for all ages, starting from 8 years old. And don't worry, we're fully accessible to wheelchairs too!
When you book your spot, we'll get in touch to find out exactly what you want to make. We're happy to cater the experience to you, whether you're interested in making bars, lollies, truffles or adding an extra boozy kick to your creations. It's perfect for any occasion, from a family outing to a hen party!
Here's what you can expect during the workshop:

• A hands-on chocolate-making session, where you'll create your own delicious chocolate treats
• Packaging your chocolate creations to take home and enjoy
We'll provide everything you need to make your creations, including the ingredients, equipment, and know-how. All you need to bring is your creativity and sense of fun!
Our workshops are designed to be a private booking, so you won't be sharing your experience with anyone else apart from your group of 4 to 12 people. We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance, but if you're feeling spontaneous, don't hesitate to give us a call to check availability. Please note that we cannot run workshops during peak times such as Christmas and Easter.

Hi, I'm Alex Grant, the owner and chocolatier at Crofts Chocolates! I've been working with chocolate for over a decade now, and before that, I spent 12 years as a chef honing my culinary skills.
I'm a self-taught chocolatier, learning through trial and error, books, and lots of experimenting. I'm still learning every day, and I love exploring new flavour combinations and techniques to make the most delicious chocolates possible.
But my favourite part of the job is hosting our workshops! It's amazing to see the creativity that flows from our participants as they make their own unique chocolate treats. And, of course, there's always plenty of laughter and fun along the way.
